Dutch style fish and chips. There’s only two ways that the dutch prepare fish. Fried or smoked. A pity I would say for a people living below sea level. They are practically fish themselves. It is what it is. But there smoked eel is to die for en there kibbeling and lekkerbekjes can be from briljant to completely crappy. This one was enjoyed in my backyard since I live in a seaside village and there’s fresh fish everywhere. And for a photographer that is bliss!
